In centuries past, farmers all over the British Isles identified eight special days of the year: the four “Quarter Days,” and the four “Cross-Quarter Days.”  These days were, and still are, important annual milestones for agriculture.  Each has its own unique traditions, and each has tunes and songs to celebrate them.  Join Fifth Reel and Friends and explore the origins, lore, and music of Beltane, Midsummer’s Eve, Lammas Day, Samhain, and more.
