Where are the youth leading us in the arts today? As former president Barack Obama stated, “The future belongs to young people with an education and the imagination to create.” The Colorado Mesa University Juried Student Exhibition will provide a glimpse of the innovations of Art and Design coming from the next generation of fine artists. To have work selected in any juried exhibition is an accomplishment, and, for many students, this will be their first time exhibiting.
 

Colorado Mesa University has a strong Art and Design Department where students engage in critical thinking and experimentation while pursuing a degree in the arts. Guided by a talented and hard-working group of professors, instructors, and mentors, students will showcase their works in this juried exhibition. A wide range of mediums will be represented including ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, graphic design, film, animation and mixed media.
