This series of exhibitions focuses on the seven elements of art and design that make dynamic compositions possible. The first exhibition in this installment is “line.” Selected works from The Art Center’s Permanent Collection will highlight this seemingly simple element that is the most basic and essential building block to a successful composition. The second installment in this series will focus on texture and its ability to create greater depth and visual interest (on display September 1-29).
