Grand Junction Clay Arts Guild
October 4 – November 16
Opening Reception October 4, 6:30-9pm

Every year The Art Center hosts an exhibition of ceramic artwork brought to you by the Grand Junction Clay Arts Guild (GJCAG). This exhibition brings together artists from across the Western Slope in both functional and sculptural ceramics. GJCAG was founded in 2001 by a small group of local ceramic artists. In its 18 years of existence this group has shown itself to be one of the region’s leading organizations committed to the growth and betterment of ceramic arts in western Colorado.

GJCAG always welcomes new members to participate in the discussions, demonstrations, and mini-workshops that take place at their monthly meetings held at the downtown branch of the Mesa County Public Library.

Step into the Gould Gallery and gain an appreciation of the wide variety of work using different techniques, glazes, and firing styles! Don’t miss the exhibition Clay Magic, October 4 through November 16, 2019. This dynamic group of artists brings an energy to this exhibition with their deep connection to the medium and appreciation of the ceramic art community.
