What is Spring Art Week?
Spring Art Week is a Grand Valley tradition, in its 31st year, where area students have the opportunity to observe professional, working artists as they create, and explain their process, and inspire students.
Spring Art Week is a one or two-hour demonstration program for grades Pre -12. Everyone is invited; public schools, private schools, special education, and home school. There are eight stations that include: blacksmithing, pastel, recycled material (hands-on), 3-D printing, epoxy sculpture, theatre (hands-on), glass blowing, and ceramics.
The cost is $35 per class for one hour (four stations), or $65 for two hours (all eight stations). Each one-hour session includes four of the eight artist stations.
Home school, private school, and special needs students are also encouraged to attend.
