📝 An experiential journaling workshop with Melody Jones, featuring special guest Lee Borden
Cancer touches nearly everyone—through a personal diagnosis, the experience of a friend or family member, or the challenges of supporting someone as a caregiver. Wherever you are in that experience, this workshop offers a supportive space to reflect, connect, and put your thoughts into words.
💛 About the Workshop
Lee Borden, Executive Director of The Art Center and a cancer survivor, will share how writing about his diagnosis and treatment became part of his healing process—and what putting his experiences into words continues to mean to him.
Journaling guide Melody Jones will then lead participants through guided writing exercises designed to encourage reflection and emotional expression. Optional opportunities to share will be included, but participants are always welcome to keep their writing private.
No previous writing or journaling experience is necessary. This workshop is open to cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and others whose lives have been touched by cancer.
