The Art Center is proud to welcome Brush and Palette back for their 72nd annual exhibition featuring artwork by amateur, emerging, and professional artists. This group’s mission is to bring painters of all mediums together to create community and encourage individual artistic development through education, monthly meetings, and exhibition opportunities. This year’s juror, Cynthia Duff, is well-known for her acrylic paintings on curved birchwood veneers with gold leaf accents. Duff’s work is inspired by movement and nature. Duff’s website states, “She accentuates the chemistry of color and shapes of nature, capturing the music in the air, interpreting visual wind chimes on wood, canvas, and paper.”

Brush and Palette welcomes new members. Their monthly meetings are held at The Art Center on the third Thursday of the month at 1pm. If you are interested in becoming a member, register on their website at gjbrushandpalette.org.
