July is Disability Pride Month! Our Artability students at The Art Center are inviting artists and community members to create a drawing or 2-dimensional art piece representing people with disabilities. During the month of July, the artwork will be displayed in the bookstore at The Art Center. The artwork should be matte-framed and will be installed with command strips (we have some matte frames at The Art Center and are happy to assist if needed). Your artwork will be displayed alongside the Artability students' drawings of superheroes with disabilities. We are thrilled for this exciting exhibit and the awareness it will bring to this ever so special month. Our hope is for this exhibit to encourage those with disabilities to feel proud and embrace their Ability.
