An Exhibition of Recent Acquisitions to the Permanent Collection
In Memory of Pat and Tillie Bishop

This August The Art Center’s Permanent Collection will host an exhibition of recent acquisitions. This will be the first time these works will be shown as a grouping in this context. Much of the work was acquired through the generous donation of Pat and Tillie Bishop. These works were carefully selected by The Art Center’s Permanent Collection Committee and Board of Trustees. A fundamental aspect of The Art Center’s mission is to dedicate itself to the preservation and stewardship of artworks like these that are within our community. This is highly valued by The Art Center staff, the Permanent Collection Committee, and the donors. Without institutions like The Art Center, community volunteers like the Permanent Collection Committee, and the generosity of our members and donors, the preservation and display of such works wouldn’t be possible.
