🖼️ About the Exhibition
The Rockies West National Watercolor Exhibition will be displayed at The Art Center in Grand Junction, CO, March 6–April 3. This exhibition includes work by renowned and emerging artists that delight the viewer.
A public reception for the artists and presentation of awards will be held on Friday, March 6, at 6:30pm. All are welcome to visit the exhibition and enjoy these outstanding paintings featuring artists brought together from across the nation.
The Western Colorado Watercolor Society is a long-standing organization that supports the creative spirit of talented artists. We would love to share our watercolor passion with you.

On the medium, Rogers states that she “enjoys the fluid, spontaneous, direct and expressive nature of watercolor.”
🖌️ Watercolor Workshop (WCWS)
In conjunction with the exhibit, a Western Colorado Watercolor Society-sponsored watercolor workshop will be held Wednesday, March 4 through Friday, March 6, 9:00am–4:00pm each day. Janet Rogers will demonstrate watercolor techniques acquired from her 35 years as a professional artist. All levels of watercolor enthusiasts are welcome to participate in this workshop.
The class will devote two days to florals, and the final day will concentrate on portraits.
