Spirit Flowchart is an exhibition of new work by Palisade-born artist Dmitri Obergfell. The exhibition features new sculptural and two-dimensional works that play on domestic space and the idea of transcendence. The exhibition’s title pairs the pragmatic and the metaphysical. A flowchart is a diagram used to illustrate the steps taken to solve a problem, whereas the word “spirit” is something intangible and elusive. In this exhibition, Obergfell makes this the basis for his work as he explores different interpretations of spirituality and corporeality.
