An Exhibition of Selected Works from Local Artists

Join us at The Art Center in celebrating a group of local two-dimensional artists in this invitational exhibition. This is the second installment of a series of exhibits entitled “Locals” which launched in 2022 with a display of ceramic artists living and working in Western Colorado. The idea was simple – highlight individuals' works who have inspired our community in the form of education, craftman-ship, and community involvement.

This year The Art Center will highlight a select group of painters – printers, collage artists, and assemblage and fiber artists whose works are having or have had a positive impact on the community.

We are pleased to have on display works by Melissa Jones, Joan Anderson, Jody Ahrens, Sandra June, John Anglim, John Phillips, Loren Eakins, Eric Elliott, Lily Cain, Monica Esposito, Claudia Crowell, Tony Crocetto, John Lintott, Philip Carlton, Josh Butler, Ajay Gustafson, Charles Hardy, and Joseph Gonzales.

While The Art Center is not able to recognize all artists who have had an impact in the community in a single exhibition, we acknowledge the gifts you all share with one another and encourage your support and further enrichment of the arts.
