Help celebrate Black History Month with The Art Center by creating a 2-D art piece inspired by black history. The pieces will be in a pop-up show in the art center's bookstore from Feb. 3 through Feb. 28. Artwork must be received by Jan. 30.

The Art Center is seeking on-call seasonal youth art teachers and substitutes.

The Art Center will be closed to the public on December 24, December 25, December 31 (Except for Swingin' in the New Year and School's Out Day Camp), and January 1. Otherwise and thereafter, the usual hours of 9:00am-4:00pm Tuesday-Saturday apply.

Calling all artists and Art Center members! Registration for the 2025 Ron Beckman Members' Show is now open!

Class registration for the Winter 2025 class session starting in January 2025 will open December 17 at 9:00 AM!

For the Thanksgiving holiday, The Art Center will be closed to the public Thursday, November 28 through Saturday, November 30. Typical hours will resume thereafter. (Exhibits will not open until Friday, December 6.)

As we prepare for the Holiday Fine Art & Craft Fair coming up November 23-24 and then prepare our December exhibits thereafter, our galleries will all be closed.

Calling All Artists! This exhibition is open to all 2-D media with a focus on clouds as the primary subject matter. Online submissions due November 30, or submit at drop-off December 3.

As The Art Center prepares new exhibits for First Friday on October 4, all galleries will be closed except for the Gould Gallery, where the Spider Woman and Trading Posts: Dinè Regional Weaving Patterns exhibit will remain on display. The Gift Gallery will remain open 9:00am-4:00pm October 1-October 3.

Due to a scheduling change, the registration opening has been moved to September 24, as is printed in this edition of Art Matters.
